I became depressed my whole life thinking I will never be happy and I'll never have friends but than when I've finally got my first Yu-Gi-Oh! deck and brought it to school everyone memorized it from the show Yu-Gi-Oh! and so I showed a few people on how to play the card game they decided to buy there own decks for the joy on playing it and they wanted to learn along the way after a few grades I was loaded with friends but than when the 4th grade hit that's when most of my friends where separate from me in a different class or some moved away and the other I don't know what happened to them. I am a HUGE fan of the show, magna and movies!! The unedited Japanese version is NOT meant for kids at all. Plus the card game is cool and teaches useful skills such as math(calculating monster damage) for example. It's a great, good quality anime show and it's meaning is about freindship and the loyalty between friends which is very important for children to know. I'm sorry but i just had to let kids and parents know that.ДЄlthough it's not the real version I think the EDITED YuGiOh is appropriate for children 8yrs-up. In Japan it wouldn't be recommended that kids watch it. All the sex, violence, blood, killing is edited out. It's the edited version of YuGiOh made for kids. All the other reviews I read seem to be based on the English dub version. YuGiOh was originally intended for older youth of about 13yrs & up. YuGiOh was created by Kazuki Takahashi and it became anime in 1996. The rating I gave on YuGiOh is based on the real Japanese version so I put BIG ISSUE on most of the pole.
